Good Decision. Really Good Decision.

In an excellent and monumentally important decision, the Supreme Court ruled yesterday that drug manufacturers are NOT shielded from personal injury lawsuits if their drugs simply gain FDA approval.

The ramifications of this decision can not be understated. If the court had found the other way, then individuals harmed by drug makers’ products would have no recourse to sue for damages. Considering the numerous faults with the FDA approval process, this decision truly protects consumers and keeps drug behemoths in check.
